Asian tourist arrivals to Spain maintain increasing trend.
According to surveys on tourism movements from the Ministry of industry, energy and tourism, Frontur, Spain has registered an increase of 65.8% in travelers from China, while Japanese tourism has risen by 27%.
Japan continues to be the origin of most Asian tourists visiting Spain, which received 475,000 Japanese tourists, 289.000 Chinese and 167,000 South Koreans in 2014. Our country occupies the fifth place in the preferences of Japanese tourists and the fifteenth for the Chinese.
The experts who participated in the IV International Congress on Asian Tourism, held in Barcelona, agree that the number of trips from the Asian markets will continue to increase in 2016.
